Kyanite is a metamorphic rock and found in aluminum rich metamorphic pgetmatites or sedimentary rock. Kyanite is a brittle tenancy with a mohs scale of 4.5-5 with a Triclinic crystal ssystem. Our black kyanite from Brazil are beautiful fan spray pieces which are excellent for your display cabinet mounted upright with putty on a base. Everyone is sure to notice this specimen in your collection, or use for your meditation.
